For Little Over A Year, My A1C Has Lingered Between

Question: For little over a year, my A1C has lingered between 5.7-5.8.

I've attached my recent blood work results and also a document with historical A1C results for you to review.

In the next three months, I would like to lower this value?

Can you be very specific about what I need to do?

Thanks for your help.

Brief Answer:
You do not need to lower this any further!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.I have reviewed the attached reports fully.

Your A1C is basically in the normal range. Any further efforts to reduce this would carry more risks than benefits. I recommend you continue to do what you have been doing. Good blood glucose numbers entail you eating healthy, exercising often and staying active. You do not need to take any medications at this time.

Being on CPAP makes me think you might have issues with your weight. Getting your weight better controlled even by dropping a few pounds would be very helpful to help prevent your numbers getting worse.

I hope this guides and helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me.
