Question: For the last 2-3 weeks I have had sudden urge to
urinate at a more frequent rate than normal
I had my urin analyzed and it was negative....
Yet I still have the urges at times

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

As per your history, it may be overactive bladder.

Please let me know do you have history of increased thirst, leaking of urine, blood in urine, abdominal pain?

To confirm diagnosis, I would suggest you to do urine culture sensitivity, ultrasound abdomen and pelvis, fasting and postprandial blood sugar level after detailed medical examination and physician's opinion.

You may require tablet tolterodine 2 mg twice daily after consultation. Keep your self hydrated.

In case of not getting relief, you may require post void urine assessment and cystometry after Urologist consultation.

How do you calm an overactive bladder ?
Is tolterderine a prescribtion drug ?
