For The Last 6 Or 7 Weeks I've Had Intermittent

Question: For the last 6 or 7 weeks I've had intermittent diarrhea. I've been feeling fine otherwise. I haven't changed my diet, other than a little more alcohol and a bit heavier eating as the holidays approach. My oral temperature has been between 98.4 and 99 which is fine for me. The only thing, other than the diarrhea, that I've found is that I've also check my temperature rectally and it's been between 100.2 and 100.8 - nothing else noticeable though

Brief Answer:
Do a stool test first.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

You are having diarrhoea for a prolonged time and also are having inflammation which is shown by elevated body temperature that you are experiencing.
I can recommend you to get further examined in order to find out the cause of diarrhoea.
Do stool test, complete blood count with formula and also biochemical blood balance including pancreatic enzymes.
The stool test with shower if there is any parasites or bacteria which can be causing it.
Then the blood tests will show the level of inflammation, liver function and pancreatic functions.
Remember to keep yourself hydrated having more water and fluids. Eat less fruits and juices which contain sugar which can make diarrhoea worse.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
