Question: For the past 2 weeks, my pulse rate has been getting very high at random moments during the day while I am at rest. Even when I am sleeping, I sometimes wake up to my heart pounding. My BP comes normal when checked. The pulse rate goes around 120.

The blood test reports show high cholesterol levels. Reducing fats and carbohydrates in diet can reduce. Should re check cholesterol after 3 months of strict diet, if not corrected you might need medication for the same.

For high heart rate, I would recommend you to get an ECG done which can give insight into the rythm and disturbances in the rhythm if any.
