Brief Answer:
May be due to anxiety. Requires further evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

As per your history, I think it may be due to anxiety or panic attacks.

Please let me know do you have chest pain, breathing difficulty, dizziness, leg swelling, decreased sleep, fever?

To confirm diagnosis, as per my knowledge you may require Electrocardiogram, thyroid profile, Holter monitoring after detailed medical examination and cardiologist consultation.

Treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition. As rapid heart beats also seen in overactive thyroid. Otherwise in case of anxiety, you may require short course of tab. Alprazolam after physician consultation. Do blood pressure monitoring.

Along with that avoid stress. Avoid tea, coffee. Keep your self hydrated.

Let me know I can assist you further....
