Forehead Injury, Numbness And Swelling In Eye, Dry And Burning Eye, Looks Droopy
Thanks for sending your query to us.
There is a certain amount of injury to the soft tissue. This injury is not too much, as in that case you may have what is known as black eye.
The trauma to the soft tissue and nerve is what is causing you these symptoms. The pieces of glitter you have mentioned, if they had occurred after injury then their significance would be more. Now if it does not subside in a short while, then we have to go in for detailed retinal examination to rule out peripheral retinal degenerations.
Cold compresses are very useful in the early stages to prevent oozing and reducing the initial inflammation, which it did to a certain extent, is not of too much of help at this stage, as the second line of body defense, the anti inflammatory response, takes over.
As the initial effects are over it is just a matter of time before this inflammation subsides, and you will keep on improving. In severe cases we have to resort to medication, which apparently does not seem to be in your case.
Please do get back to me in case of any problem.
Please accept my answer in case you do not have further queries.

There are two things that strike me in your query that are important one is a 20 mt.time gap befor your problems get intense and that you do not want another shrug and a prescription.
There are two importent factors in my advice to you one is that I am not professionally qualified enough for what I am saying next and two that you are young enough to have a lot of flexibility in your body. What is importent here is that you have to realise that YOGA poses or asanas as they are called are not quick fix solutions and they have to become your way of life. They have greatbanifits as I have after doing them for last 44years,that is why I am over riding my first reservation.
What I wanted to convey to you is that after 20 mts. Of workout you can start with a yoga session.
Sit in Lotus pose(padmasana).
Do some XXXXXXX breathing (pranayama)e.g.bhastrika.kapal Bhati, anulom violom XXXXXXX namaskar, this is a 12part pose
Lastly Shav asana
I would have liked to go into the details of each and every step that I have advised but it easy to google it and find good videos.
Once you start doing it the result is an incentive for you to carry it on.
I have tried to give you a different approach to solve your problem, there is no reason for it not to succeed.

Every modality of management has its own limitations. A holistic approach with emphasis on management of mind as well as body is important.
I have seen tremendous improvements and am talking from personal experience. It is good that you have already had experience of yoga, then you are already primed for achieving a greater degree of wellness.
Best wishes for a healthy life.
