Prevention of UTI in boys is having your kid drink plenty of fluids to flush out bacteria in the urinary tract, encourage your kid to go to the bathroom as soon as they feel the urge.

Can he have a uti for several months and not get worse or have other symptoms? Absence of nitrates in results?? This (smell) has been going on for at least several months, do we have to worry about other problems (kidneys) created by how long this has gone on? thank you
