Brief Answer:
Pityriasis Rosea

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have viewed the image and gone through your query.

I can see oval patches on sides of trunk which most likely seem to be those of Pityriasis Rosea which presents as oval or round, dry, scaly patches on back, flanks and proximal limbs usually arranged along the direction of ribs- giving a fir tree appearance. It can be a reaction as a result of infection (herpes virus has been implicated), certain medications, food etc. There can be crops of new lesions even as the earlier ones seem to be resolving. It can last 6-8 weeks. I suggest you to use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g either mometasone furoate cream or triamcinolone acetonide cream, twice daily for a few days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
