![default](/r/images/default.png)
I am just worried to why this pustule is not going away, my daughter gets then often but they go away In weeks she said that's why I am concerned to why mine is not going away. I have seen by an ENT specialist he gave me antibiotics for 5 days but it is still there. It is now almost 2 months since I saw the ENT.
May be you can recommend some medication which can solve my problem and release my stress. Thanks
Welcome to XXXXXXX
It would be nice if you mention whether it is associated with pain or the redness around and also number of white spots that you have. Whether it is increasing in size or it is stable.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
You could have a sore throat, which can easily be fixed with a simple throat spray or cough drop. It could be a form of strep you may want to get a second opinion from a different doctor.
I advice you to go for culture and sensitivity testing it will aid in identifying the exact organism and also the proper antibiotic. It will be better if you see ENT specialist for examination and again and even to rule out any fungal infection.
Hope I have provided the information you needed.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Thanks for your reply, actually my question was to know how long these pustules take to go away, normally how long since it is on my tonsil for the last 2 months or more. I do not have any redness around it nor I have any other white spots just one.
I will call my ENT and ask him if he wants me to see him or recommend any other antibiotics, I do not have any sore throat.
I hope you will answer my given question, thanks.
Sir, Good to hear from you.
I do understand you and your concern, but to know how long it may take to go away, one should know what it is. For diagnosing one should examine it for coming to conclusion.
It will be mistake from my side if i prescribe you some antibiotic without examination and even when you have mentioned that you have taken course of antibiotic but it did not have any effect on the symptom.
The best advice that i can give you is to consult the ENT specialist for examination and discuss with him regarding the previous antibiotic course and also about the test that is culture and sensitivity for diagnosing. I sincerely hope that helps.
Hope i have cleared your queries. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer.
Wish you good health.
