Hii. Welcome to the healthcare services.Your child is having allergic infla
Detailed Answer:
Hii. Welcome to the healthcare services.Your child is having allergic inflammation of the adenoid glands or adenoiditis. The intermittent nose blockage, mouth breathing, fever is due to this allergic inflammation. Enlarged adenoids also compress over the eustachian tube orifice and results in abnormal function of the eustachian tube. Eustachian tube maintains pressure between ear and outside ear. So eustachian tube dysfunction lead to ear pain. So take a x ray soft tissue neck lateral view to see the adenoid enlargement. Start mometasone or fluticasone nasal spray. Take steam inhalation. You can take antiallergic tablet levicetrizine for short duration. Continue the antibiotic for 1 week preferably amoxycilllin. Do a audiogram to know the hearing status of ear pure tone audiogram and impedance audiogram. Depending on the hearing status it can determined that your child need removal of adenoids or medical management will continue alone. Please review with x ray and audiogram and if you have any queries.

Hii. The advice given by them is absolutely correct. Continue the fluticaso
Detailed Answer:
Hii. The advice given by them is absolutely correct. Continue the fluticasone spray, steam inhalation. Continue XXXXXXX XXXXXXX Do valsalva manouvre which I can think you are doing by forceful expiration with closed mouth and nose. This won't damage ear drum but will help in eustachian tube opening. So continue everything you have been advised. Do a hearing test impedance audiogram and pure tone audiogram tk know the hearing status.

Hii. According to the prescription your child is having acute otitis media.
Detailed Answer:
Hii. According to the prescription your child is having acute otitis media. You can take Tab Augmentin or tab ceftum but better to give some amoxycillin clavulanic acid combination like augmentin. Ceftum is a higher antibiotic and will act in same way. The dose is correct as prescribed by doctor. Take paracetamol tablet only for pain. Take nasoclear nose drop along with fluticasone or mometasone nasal spray at paediatric dose. Take steam inhalation. Do a impedance audiogram after the infection settle and review with the reports. Take levicetrizine tablet. No need for any other drug.
