Getting Burning Sensation On Foot When Sitting Or Standing. What Is Causing This?
Question: Hello,
My sister has this problem with her foot. She has a burning snsation on top of the left foot, when standing/sitting, when she is idle or moves her toes.
What seems to be the problem? what is causing it? who does she needs to see?

Your sister's problem seems to be suffering from peripheral neuropathy, a disease of nerves located in the skin over the foot.
She should consult a neurologist for evaluation.
At present, medications such as pregabalin may be helpful.
