Hi,
Welcome to HCM!

I don't think there is any relation to lying down prone and headaches directly.

Lying down in this position stretches back muscles.

May be he is not comfortable in this position and that leads to headache.

Why does he take this position?is there any reason?

You have to check for other causes of headaches like refraction errors, stress, etc.
Get his blood pressure checked also.

Good luck

God bless
