Hi XXXXXXX

Thanks for posting the query.

It’s true that with increased physical activity the protein requirements of the body increases. But it completely depends on the rate and intensity of the activities. A sufficient intake of protein is recommended with increased activity to prevent any muscle breakdown.
There are a lot of natural protein XXXXXXX foods available to us. Including mature legumes, pulses, mushroom, soy and its products and milk in the diet is found to be helpful. If you take non vegetarian foods then egg white and non-fried chicken and fish preparations are recommended. Avoid the red meats as these are XXXXXXX in fat and cholesterol.
The commercial protein supplements are concentrated and therefore to be safe the dosage should be carefully followed as per the instructions. Consuming sufficient fluids is important while taking the supplements to facilitate the elimination of waste produced as a result of protein digestion. Consuming the supplements are safe as long as you maintain the activity levels.

Hope this would help you.
