Question: Good Morning, I have been having what I call a muscle spams even though it feels like a tightening in my lower ribs. With it I am also very nauseous. Normally the pain will go away with stretching and I am capable of breathing though the nauseous feelings. The other day no matter what I did I couldn't get it to go away the pain just kept recurring within minutes of the last onset. Any idea what may be going on? I have been to the doctor who thinks it might be the gallbladder but the test didn't support that conculsion

Brief Answer:
What tests have been performed...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I went through the details with diligence. If the symptoms are not caused by gall bladder disease, acid peptic disease seems more likely. Other possibilities of a cardiac and non cardiac condition should also be considered as differentials.

You mentioned you had test and it wasn't supporting gall bladder disease per se. I would like to know what test/s was done. If you have test results you may upload it here. There is an option to upload reports here. It should be there on the right side of this page.

Awaiting your response...
