Question: Good Morning, I have checked my mother's blood pressure yesterday in Digital BP Monitor and the reading was 159/102 and the pulse reading was 76. I took her to a clinic 2 days ago and doctor ask her to take one tablet. Could you please advise what should I do now and what diet should I ask my mom to follow? Age of my mother: 53 years Medication for Sugar Thanks, Afshan

After going through the medical details provided by you I can understand your concern for your mother’s health and before giving my opinion I would like to know few things

1. Since how long she is diabetic and hypertensive?
2. What medicine she is taking for sugar and blood pressure along with the dose of the medicine?
3. Any history of heart disease?
4. Any history chest pain?
5. Any tests like ecg or echo has been done in past if yes then I would like to see the reports
