I had some watery eyes a few days ago but that went away . What can the reason for the twitching be? is it something to be concerned over ? should i go see an eye doctor ? Please advise! Thanks much .

Brief Answer:
Twitching may or may not be related...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It's unfortunate to say in most cases twitching are due to unknown reasons. But it resolves spontaneously without treatment. However a few possibilities that I would consider dry eyes and straining based on the symptoms you had earlier. I'd suggest drinking lots of fluids and using artificial lubricant eye drops. If the symptoms don't improve, visit an eye doctor for examination.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Thanks very much . How long should I wait before visiting a doc if it doesn't go away on its own?
Brief Answer:
I'd give 24 hours
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
As mentioned earlier, usually the cause is from benign and harmless reason. It resolves with time. But as it's been more than a week, I'd suggest you try the lubricant and see if it gets better in 24 hours. If you don't see results, feel free to visit an ophthalmologist for an eye exam.
Hope it helped. Let me know if you need any other clarifications.
