Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!
I understand your concern and would explain that there are some types of disorders which can cause a similar clinical situation:
- Buerger’s disease, also called thromboangiitis obliterans, is an inflammation of small- and medium-sized blood vessels. Although any artery can be affected, it usually presents with blockages of the arteries to the feet and hands, leading to pain and tissue damage.
- Hereditary cerebral amyloid angiopathy is a condition that can cause a progressive dementia, stroke, and other neurological problems starting in mid-adulthood. Due to neurological decline, this condition is typically fatal in one's sixties, although there is variation depending on the severity of the signs and symptoms. Most affected individuals die within a decade after signs and symptoms first appear, although some people with the disease have survived longer.
- Hereditary dyslipidemia are a group of hereditary disorders, which cause elevated levels of bad cholesterol, leading to progressive occlusion of blood vessels due to atherosclerosis.
- Churg-Strauss syndrome is an extremely rare disease that causes inflammation of your blood vessels. It can damage small and medium-sized blood vessels. Doctors also call it Churg-Strauss vasculitis, eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis , and allergic angiitis.
Most of these disorders affect the small and medium vessels.
Hope you will find this information helpful!
