Sir.....I have gone through the image and am fully convinced that it is a Gonococcal infection. It resembles a strept sore throat,is situated in the posterior part of the oral cavity,has no cauliflower growths .... these are the points in favour.
I would suggest you to visit a good microbiology lab and go for a throat swab examination for gonorrhoea so that it can be documented (before starting the antibiotics).
Thereafter,a course of oral Azithromycin and injectable Ceftriaxone and injectable Gentamycin can be started.
The antibiotics can be deescalated later according to the sensitivity report

It sounds to me that you are quite sure and I appreciate that. Do you have any suggestions as far as what type of lab or agency to contact? I live in the XXXXXXX area. I am still a little uncomfortable going to my internist or endocrinologist to discuss this. Are there private agencies that I can contact to organize a throat swab? Anyway what would you suggest? The reason that my wife has not contacted this condition is because we have not had sexual relations for 10 years. But we are best friends and I like it that way. I am not anxious for her to become aware of this situation. So I’m looking for a discreet way to handle this. I hope you get my meaning. I would like to privately obtain a throat swab and definitive diagnosis. From there I would be able to obtain antibiotics from a friendly physician. I appreciate your expert help in this. The technician cum phlebotomist would come to your place,would collect the sample/swab and the soft copy of reports would be available on your mail.
