Question: H/o middle finger soft tissue tumour – excision done - histopathology pathology report s/o benign gaint cell tumour of tendon sheath. Kindly tell prognosis and complications if any further?

For how long was the tumor present? - 1 year duration
What were the symptoms? - swelling on right middle finger
When was it operated ? - operated on 18/08/2018
Was it told to be complete excision? - yes, excision of GCT on right hand
Please post the histopathology report- attached

Kindly guide prognosis

Prognosis is good provided the factors as mentioned below are normal.

Thanks for your feedback.
Since the histopath report has specifically mentioned that this is Benign giant cell tumor of tendon sheath, no evidence of malignancy, the prognosis appears good.
Cancerous growth is ruled out.
If the tumor has been completely removed the chance of recurrence is also very low.
So good prognosis.
There are no known complications as surgery has been done in August 2018.

Prognosis if good if the scar is healthy, there is no recurrence at the moment. (as you not mentioned about recurrence) and the movement of the operated finger is normal.
