Question: HI Doctor, How are you doing,,hope all well....I am 35 years old Male who is jovial person who runs a week/ exercise 3 times a day with cross fit methods....My worry is my parents have not given me BCG vaccination when i born as i can see for everyone there is a mark in there below shoulder arm of vaccination but for me there's nothing!!!! i confirmed with my parents that they have not given vaccination for me ...so my doubt is will this affect me in my future ? i got 2nd chicken pox at the age of 30 that is after my marriage ...please help me here what can be done if a person has not been vaccinated because of parents foolishness. Also my cheeks have swollen not like earlier 4 years back my cheeks were thin but now its swollen..please help

BCG vaccine is not given to anyone above 18 because the efficacy will be very low in adults.
Nothing much to worry as you belong to a tuberculosis endemic country and you might have already developed some immunity to TB.
The symmetrical enlargement and hollowing of cheek reflects the change in body mass and does not indicates any active disease.

HI Doc, Thanks for your reply my concern now due to this Corona outbreak many are saying BCG vaccine helps to recover from this since Italy and Spain had not got BCG vaccine in those countries hence the death rate is very high...
