Question: Hi there. I'm a 25 year old female. For the last week, I've had awful pain in my right flank and abdomin. It feels like a gallbladder attack, but I had my gall bladder out when I was 16. I have a history of kidney stones as well. The pain will start in my back and radiate around to my front on the right side. It's very severe at times. The attacks can last a few minutes to several hours. It has been getting worse over the last couple days. Every so often I will get a stabbing pain in the front of my abdomen that's very sharp and sudden. Any advice would help. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Sounds like kidney stones

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

What you describe sounds like kidney stones. I suggest an NSAID like diclofenac, lots of water to drink, and if gets worse or you have fever, you should see a doctor.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.
