Had Cold. What Is Causing Strong Chemical Smell In Stool?
Question: Hello I have a strong chemical smell in stool and certain foods like coffee brewing or fried foods have this same smell all started after bad cold and have had this fortepiano months thanks

The strong chemical smell of your stool may be due to a virus infection which in turn caused the bad cold also.
Viral infection may lead to destruction of the protective intestinal flora which some times lead to foul smelling of stool and some times loose stools.
If there are no loose stools, no treatment is required at present stage.
I advise you to wait and watch for any abnormality in stool consistency.
