Hello and thanks for the query.
Although one cigarette a day may not do much harm in short run but in long term the amount of smoking will definitely increase and will result in damage to your body from brain to toe.
Long term Ill effects of smoking on brain...
Smoking blocks the carotid artery. So, blood supply to the brain cells are cut off. This results in stroke, called cerebral thrombosis. Smokers’ risk of having a stroke is 1.5 times more than non-smokers.
Smoking also leads to thickening and clotting of the blood.
Smoking causes oxidative stress.

So please quit the smoking as early as possible.
Although your MRI is normal you must take rest til you become alright.
Get your blood pressure and sugar checked.
sleep well
Avoid alcohol
Take plenty of fruits and XXXXXXX vegetables
Take plenty of water.
Do some breathing exercises.
Go for long walks and avoid heavy exercises
Take some good multivitamin for couple of weeks.

You are most welcome to ask for any other query.
Best of luck
Thanks

Also since concussion i have been off the planet for about 3 weeks fog is just lifting i have upset my partner during this time 1st week i was really agressive and nasty 2nd week i just slept and this week i am up and down have moments of lucidy then out of it again (i am lucid 80% of the time) is this a normal part of recovery and how do i handle it do i just say nothing in case i upset my partner?
sorry forgot to ask how long until i am fully recovered and back to old self? roughly

Hello
It is very difficult to put a exact time frame for such types of injuries.
You should return to the old activities only when you feel 100% fit.
Perhaps you should be fully fit in another 2 weeks time.
Till then have rest and relax.
Best of luck
Thanks
