Had Epididymis Cysts Ultrasound Report Doesn’t Say Anything About This Should I Follow Up
Question: Hi, we have had epididymis cysts for about 5 years. I have had 3 ultrasounds in the 5 years and all come back saying normal and I have cysts. My left epididymis feels 2-3 times bigger than the right, at each end feels like I have a lump coming of it. It hasn’t changed I’m the 5 years I have had it. The ultrasound report doesn’t say anything about this. Is this something I should follow up or because the ultrasound said it was ok don’t worry? If it was something serious it would of changed and developed in the 5 years I have had this. All my blood tests are normal. Just giving me anxiety and why the report didn’t mention that my left epididymis is bigger. When they say I have cysts is that what it implies?
It happened when I tried to stop myself from having an orgasm, I had one but no sperm came out. Since then, 5 years I’ve had this like extra sack, bigger epididymis than the left. Hasn’t changed in the 5 years
Brief Answer:
Epididymis is bigger because of Cyst itself.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query.
The Epididymis on left side is bigger because of presence of Cyst itself and these cysts being benign in nature there is nothing to be worried about it .
If you are too much anxious about it You may get it removed by doing a surgery ,However the chances of recurrence can not be ruled out.

Thanks. One last thing. The ultrasound would of picked up anything bad? If it said it’s all clear which it did I don’t need any follow up with this?
