Had Hip Replacement, Now Soreness And Painful Movements, Burning. Concerned?

Question: I had my right hip replaced 3 yrs ago with no problems. Within the last 2 wks after helping a friend move, it's been unusually sore & movements that didn't hurt before now do. It has started to burn as well. Should I be concerned?
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The symptoms you are having might be related to a decrease in the lubricating substance around the joint or a muscle spasm.
You can get yourself examined to confirm the findings and local injections of joint lubricants will help in reducing these symptoms.
This soreness also improves with rest, hot fomentation and keeping the leg elevated on two pillows while resting.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Please accept my answer in case you do not have further queries.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
