Brief Answer:
Not necessary to get infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Ma'am
Thank you for asking ask a doctor service.
I have gone through your query with diligence. Lochia can stop in 5 weeks time in some. If there is infection there can be pain or abnormal discharge or cramping or change in smell. If that is not there then no need to worry. Semen is a sterile fluid. So getting infection is not likely.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.

How likely is it that I could be pregnant? No period. No lochia since 3 weeks postpartum. Not breastfeeding. No idea if I have ovulated or not. When should I take a test? Does getting pregnant so soon after a csection have any risks?

Brief Answer:
Can take test after 1 month from intercourse.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.
You can take urine pregnancy test after 1 month from sexual intercourse. After 3 weeks there is possibility of getting pregnant if there is no breastfeeding. If it is doubtful then can go for transvaginal ultrasound which will give the exact status of uterus.
Its not good to get pregnant soon after delivery. There is increased chance of rupture of uterus in such case. If pregnant it is better to have a regular follow up with your Gynecologist.
Hope this may help you.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
