Had Sex During The Presence Of Free Fluid In POD. Chances Of Pregnancy?
Question: Hi doctor, we have had sex when free fluid was present in POD of my wife, we want to know was that the correct time to have the sex and shall we expect pregnancy now?

Free fluid in the POD usually is present in the middle of the cycle during the ovulation period. After the dominant follicle ruptures,free fluid appears in the POD. This is a good time for fertilization and the right time for trying to get pregnant.
You should have sexual intercourse as much as possible for the next 48 hrs after the free fluid was found in the POD. If successful you will miss the period in the next few weeks.Then if you do miss a period,take a pregnancy test.
