Question: Had small cell cancer in left lung 2014 I had chemo and radiation. About one week ago my lower back begain to hurt so I can’t take Ibuprofen And I watch my medicine .
My question is should I go to my doctor and request a scan of my lower back ? I’m nervous because they said my type was a jumper but that everything looked good so far but could a lung scan be comin back in my lower back

Hi

Lung cancer has tendency to spread to bones.

Since you are having pain in neck do a bone scan to rule out bone spread

For pain you can apply fentanyl patch 5 mcg locally in skin in chest
