When was the last stent put?
What type of stent was put-bare metal stent or drug metal stent?

Three stints installed 14 months ago & they were drug coated stents

As per the standard guidelines available plavix should not be stopped within one year. After the first year, there are no clear guidelines regarding stopping plavix. However long term treatment with plavix is indicated for patients with long length of stent, multiple stents and those with history of diabetes.

I think it is better to continue plavix if you are not having other contraindications.
