Hai Sir, I Have Maxillary Sinsustes Problem From Last 10
Question: Hai sir,
I have maxillary sinsustes problem from last 10 years... earlier it was coming and going with in 10 day or 15 days time... but first time have contionus sinutes for two months time ... then little mucus formed inside my sinuses...
same Two months back I had evening raise low grade fever (around 99 F only) for 30 days; that time doctor asked me to get various test to find the reasons of resistance fever other than sinusitis issue...
in that I have got done ANA profile Immunoblot method test also... so he suggest to me show same report to Rheumatologist for opinion.
So kindly advise me is this report normal or any further working required on the same.

I was going through your previous reports and came to know that you suffer from psoriasis, so sometimes people who suffer from psoriasis can have a positive ANA without any other problem.
also the report for ANA immunoblt has not got attatched.

the reports you have sent show a positive ANA and immunoblot with low titers so in absence of any other features suggestive of connective tissue disease we cannot give these tests much importance.
In case fever for you is recurring ,the test for ANA can be repeated but by the proper method called IFA(in direct immunofluorescence.)
