Hai Sir I Have Maxillary Sinusitis Problem From Last 12
Question: Hai sir
I have maxillary sinusitis problem from last 12 years. I am using homeopathy medicine regularly; but yearly 3 to 5 times it gets triggered to worst; then I use to take some antibiotics and get rid-of within one week or maximum two weeks’ time;
But first time I am suffering from last seven months continuously. Maybe it became as chronic sinusitis. It was worst earlier with running nose, headache etc., I started take antibiotics and medicines like levoday antibiotic, citizen and Montek lc etc.,
I got PNS MRI test also… I am attaching for your reference.
Then running nose and headache completely cured. But from last 4 months, but I have mucus inside the nose (may be in sinuses) and I am taking steam and trying to sneeze out… but only very little bit (size of an ant) is coming out after any effort, but no headace and running nose in these 4 months; the slowly started low grade fever, eye itching (in corner of nose side) mainly right eye, getting redness, discomfort and little (no swelling); as per doctor advice I used one month Nezalast nosil spray, Motek LC tablet and two weeks Mahaflox eye drops; while using I got complete relief in low grade fever, but eye itching and redness is not getting cured… after stopping the medicine, it started back again.
I consulted eye specialist also, and I got advice to consult ENT specialist... because eye Eye itching is a part of sinsuitis disease complex
So please guide me in this regard. I need relief from eye itching, redness and discomforts etc.,

Brief Answer:
Allergic Rhinitis and Mild Chronic Sinusitis.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. These are symptoms of Allergic Rhinitis and Mild Chronic Sinusitis. The fever may represent a recent infection.
2. Your MRI findings are suggestive of Mild Chronic Sinusitis.
3. You need to get your Allergy Tests done. An ImmunoCap/Phadiatop or Skin Prick Test (SPT) should be done after discontinuing anti-allergy medication.
4. If the tests are not possible yet, use Steam Inhalation and NasoWash saline nasal washes in addition to the medication you were taking. Adding a mucolytic will help.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.
Regards.

Dear Sir
Thanks for your reply.
1. Is Allergic Rhinitis are because of sinusitis ? or it is a separate disease ?
2. I have MRI and CT scan (two years back) also... again both are attached. If it is mild chronic sinusitis, how get clear the same. I am already talking steam and will start Naso wash also.
3. two moths back I had continues low grader fever (around 99 F only) for one month; so that time I got certain allergic related test... pleas go through the same, as you are recommending Immuno Cap test.
4. What is Mucolytic, what purpose sir ? which one & how much I have to take; pls mention clearly.
Can I get relief eye problem after using this Nasowash ???? because it is becoming very discomfort for me.
Please go through the reports of allergic; there are two attachments.

Details as discussed below:
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. Allergic Rhinitis is due to allergy. Sinusitis develops over time due to Allergic Rhinitis. Rhinosinusitis is the term used to describe this. Sometimes infections can be also present.
2. The sinusitis is mild and will settle down with treatment.
3. Only IgE levels will not help. Proceed with allergy tests. Your auto-immune antibodies are also positive (CENP B and ds DNA). Get a Rheumatologist's opinion on this.
4. Ambroxol , acetylcysteine or bromhexine are medications that liquify thick mucus. They are easily available. You will require a prescription of a local doctor.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.
