Brief Answer:
Not needed now
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Welcome to Ask A Doctor service
I am Dr Aslam, Pediatrician here to assist you.
Was there any symptoms related to worm infestation for him?
Actually, deworming is not needed in a 2 months baby. Babies below 6 months are very unlikely to get infested. We usually deworm children after 1 year of age, or after 6 months if symptomatic.
So if there is no symptoms(seeing worms crawling in stools or around anal area), we need not repeat now.
I hope this answer will help
Let me know if I can assist you further

He is not 2 months .he is 2 years old
Brief Answer:
Can give once more
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Thank you for correction; initially age was mentioned as 2 months.
When we deworm a child, usually two doses are given 2 weeks apart. So you can give him once more, if not repeated that time.
Also, to prevent recurring, take care of the following:
1. Avoid nail biting/ finger sucking habit.
2. Regular nail clipping once in 10-14 days
3. Wash hands well with soap and water before food and after using toilet
4. Give boiled/RO filtered water only for drinking.
Hope I have answered your query
If you need further clarification, I will be happy to help; otherwise you can close the discussion and kindly rate the answer.

Brief Answer:
Usually 6 months
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Welcome back
Usually we keep an interval of 6 months between dewormings.
But if the child is symptomatic, we can repeat after 3 months also(here, we give single dose only; not repeated after 2 weeks)
Also, if the child becomes symptomatic before 6 months, we have to be more careful of the already mentioned preventive measures. Deworm the whole family simultaneously once if recurring frequently. Also, hot wash all clothes(including inner wears) and bed linens/blankets, dry under sun and iron. These measures will prevent recurring
