Question: PT has lesion with induration, pain, pruritis and serous fluid. They come and go. And have occurred below the knees only. First noticed 9/12. MRSA neg. hot wet compresses relieve discomfort.

The lesion could be infective in nature.
Because of infection,there will be pain.As it is associated with inflammation,induration is seen.
The pus can gets resolved and turn into serous fluid with treatment.
The hair follicle gets infected and can lead to this condition.
It can be due to any bacteria.
