Childs Name: XXXXXXX Age 8 (DOB: 28 Aug 2004)
We are thinking of having a second child.
Considering my wife's age, we would like to know what are all the risks for both mom and the child.
And let us know if any important tests she has to undergo.

Arthi's age is 32 and she is going to have second child so there is no risk of any chromosomal anomaly like down's syndrome etc
It is usually seen in primigravida or first pregnancy after the age of 35.
As your first baby is alright you need not worry
Your wife can start taking folic acid
There are tests for earlier detection of any anomaly starting from 10 15 weeks like Nuchal translucency on ultrasound , triple and quadruple marker etc.
