Have Burning Sensation After Peeing And Pimple Like Rash On Tip Of Penis. Cause?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Can be due to infection. Needs treatment.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
For burning sensation after urination and otherwise not present needs medical attention and a detailed evaluation by a urologist. Some of the causes which can be responsible for these symptoms in your case are:
1) Infections of the prostate, bladder, or seminal vesicles and interstitial cystitis (chronic disease of the urinary bladder associated with pain associated with the bladder, pain associated with urination and pain during ejaculation).
2) Gonorrheal infections
3) Urethritis or prostatitis
You need a comprehensive profile of investigations including semen examination, culture, urine culture and examination, PSA levels, STD panel for gonorrhea, swab samples and a cystoscopy if needed to rule out any urethritis.
First you need to see a doctor, get a swab test to confirm the diagnosis.
You will have to take a course of antibiotics.
Refrain from sex until your infection is resolved.
You need to observe good hygiene.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
Dr. Rakhi Tayal.

Balanitis needs to be ruled out also.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
If the tip of penis looks irritated then local causes like balanitis and dermatitis also need to be ruled out after a direct examination. You can use a topical antiseptic cream like neosporin for 2-3 days and see if it improves.
Hope my answer is helpful.
