Question: Have had red throat swollen glands and temp 99-101 oral for 2 wks.Tested for strep and mono both neg. Still waiting on culture
Troat more sore right side.Ache all over and energy not there
Temp100.4 an hr
Ago now 99.5
TOLD TO TAKE TYLENOL 1 EVERY 6 HRS AND LORATIDINE 1 DAILY
ANY OTHER IDEAS?

It seems that you are having acute tonsillitis. You can start Amoxycillin clavulanic acid combination, antiallergic tablet. You can continue betadine gargle. Try to eat more orally specially liquids. Wait for the culture report to come and change the antibiotic according to the report.

Had lightheaded spell at church tonight.Temp was 100.9 when got home.B/P 106/56(low for me).Have beem taking tylenol every 4hrs. as orderedFeelacheyand have buzxy head
I did not let you know the doc at urgent care said it was not tonsilitus and had tonsilsout yrs

Hii. Can you see red swollen gland from inside mouth of from outside neck? Can you send any picture? It seems that you are having inflamed lymph nodes. Inflamed lymph nodes may be due to acute bacterial it viral infection. The source of infection may be from oral cavity or from nose. You can continue the same management with antibiotic, antiallergic and betadine gargle. You may be hypotensive due to ongoing inflammatory reaction. So drink more juice and liquids.

Could one get fungal throat infection?Haveneen treated for toenail fungus for about 1 yr and had dark piece toenail break off and some drainage a out the time it started.Temp100 9 this afternoon.Had swetting badly this afternoon T
NOW99.9(O]Throatstill sore.Not able to drink peach ice tea burned to much.See my doc tommorow any test or labs you would reccomend.?I have little energy and feel rotten!

Hii. Can you please send the CT scan films and the reports and fungal cultu

Please consult an Ent surgeon and get your throat examined. Give a throat swab and sent for culture and sensitivity. If needed you may have to do an endoscopy of the throat and nose to see whether there is any infection or not. Continue betadine gargle, antiallergic tablet, steam inhalation and paracetamol tablet. Please review once you visit an Ent surgeon.
