Have Hashimoto's Thryoiditis. Feeling Fatigue. Got Itchy Red Rash Under Ribs. Any Solution?
Question: Fatigue and an itchy red rash on the trunk of my body left side only under ribs,basically, healthy - hashimoto's thryoiditis, overweight.

Do you have any demarcated margin of defined skin lesion?
Do you have any fluid filled vesicles/ bullae at lesion?
Is there any previous history of such lesion?
Do you have pain at affected skin site?
Presence of hashimoto's thyroiditis predisposes for other auto immune disease also.
Exact diagnosis can be made after examining the lesion.
Kindly send the picture if possible.
You should consult with dermatologist and physician and should go for KOH mount preparation of skin lesion.
You may have fungal infection/ contact dermatitis/ eczematous dermatitis/ autoimmune skin lesion.
KOH mount preparation helps in differentiate between fungal infection and contact/ eczematous dermatitis/ shingles.
If both disease has been ruled out, then you should go for skin biopsy of the affected skin lesion.
Fatigue appears to be due to hypothyroidism.
Have you undergone thyroid hormone level recently?
If no, then you should consult with physician and should go for this investigation.
