In general, primary hyperparathyroidism and hypercalcemia do not pose a direct threat during general anesthesia and in the context of wound healing.
It is important though to ensure good hydration to prevent a sudden sharp rise in the blood calcium levels. This can be XXXXXXX Typically around the time of surgery, the surgical team hydrates the patient well with fluids through the veins. In your instance you can specifically remind them of this condition so they can monitor your calcium closely
