Hi there,
Thanks for writing to us,
TSH is thyroid stimulating hormone, produced when the hypothalamus releases a substance called thyrotropin releasing hormone. TRH then triggers the pituitary gland to release TSH.

TSH causes the thyroid gland to make two hormones, triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4)

Total T4 is dependent on thyroid binding globulins and in females, it is often high due to estrogen influence, and that is normal, thus, but free T4 is accurate in measuring the condition of thyroid.
Free T4 measures the unbound thyroxine levels. Free T4 is typically elevated in hyperthyroidism.

As your free t4 are elevated, consult your medical practitioner about the problem and have suggestions about anti thyroid treatment.
