Question: I have gone through CT scan of abdominal and pelvis .

I have a pain on the right side and sometimes on the left of the stomach.Doctor told me to have a CT scan

Technique - Contiguous non contrast and contrast enhanced axial CT scan was performed through the abdomen and pelvis.

Clinical History - Abdominal pain

Findings -

- Kidneys are normal in size ,shape , orientation and density, a 2mm non obstructive
right upper pole renal calculus is seen. Small 4mm left upper renal cortical cysts is seen.No hydronephrosis.No Perinephric fluid collection or fat stranding seen.
- Ureters are normal in course and caliber. No identifibale dense ureteric calculus seen bilaterally
-Urinary bladder appears normal. No intraluminal or VUJ calculus
- Liver,GB,spleen and pancreas appears normal
- Bowel loops and non opacified intraabdominal vessels are unremarkable
- Pelvic organs appears normal
- No free fluid or collection seen
- No significant lymphadenopathy seen
- Visualized spine and lower lung fields appear normal
- Incidentally noted - Right inguinal hernia seen with mesenteric fat and vessels herniating into the right scrotal sac.

Impression -
- tiny non obstructive right renal calculus.
- No hydronephrosis seen bilaterally
- Small left renal cortical cysts
- Incidentally noted right inguinal hernia seen with mesenteric fat and vessels herniating into the right scrotal sac.
