Question: Have petechiae on upper arms (particularly left arm). Saw Doc about it, didn't seem concerned but ran a blood test. All counts were normal, however petechiae is still there. Should I get a second opinion or be concerned?
Brief Answer:
You should not worry about it.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
Taking count that your blood test was normal you should not worry about it.
Claritin is also known not to give petechiae as a side effect.
I want to know some more details if you are using any other medications despite Claritin such blood thinners, phenytoin, penicillin, quinine .
Also tell me if you are having other symptoms despite allergies.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
You should not worry about it.

No other symptoms, and no other medications
Brief Answer:
Using vitamin C supplements may be helpful.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
I don't think this is something important taking count that blood tests were normal also you don't have other symptoms and are not having other medications.
It may go by itself.
I think you may need to check liver function also ,doing liver enzymes tests and bilirubin.
Taking vitamin C supplements may be helpful.
