Detailed Answer:
Welcome to XXXXXXX
He is 19 and is in good health. He was diagnosed with gastroparesis about 1 weeks ago. He has Klinefelter Syndrome Mosaic. He has started showing personality changes and started showing suicidal ideation.
Wilsons Disease is a disease with excess copper in body. In individuals with this disease there is deficiency of Ceruloplasmin which is a protein for copper metabolism. Individuals mainly show symptoms related to liver abnormalities like many gastric symptoms. Gastroparesis is also seen commonly. Depression, suicidal ideation and other personality changes are also common. So we can think of possibility of this illness, but it is not so common disease. Before diagnosing Wilsons we have to rule out other conditions also.
Anxiety disorder is one of commonest possibility. Individual with anxiety disorder may show symptoms related to GIT and other irritable bowel symptoms. Personality changes in form of severe anxiety, anger outbursts, suicidal ideation are common. A patients of Kleinfelter Mosaic may show minor symptoms of anxiety.
Other condition like depression should also be ruled out. Patients show depressive features in form of suicidal ideas. I would advise you to get himself evaluated with a good Psychiatrist fro expert opinion.
Also get his Thyroid levels checked. Low thyroid hormones levels may cause such symptoms like low gastric motility, anxiety, personality changes, suicidal ideas and depressive symptoms.
Hope this helps you, if you have more queries you can ask again.
