Have Soreness In Nostril. Getting Strange Skin Like Discharge After Sneezing. What Is Wrong?

Question: Sore in left nostril won't heal , smells like foot fungus
Have had symptoms for many months
Very tender near end of nose
Strange skin like discharge when nose is blown
Thin and 1/2 inch length
Then pain is really bad

Hi there.
Appears you have an ozaena of sorts.
Do you have a bhabit of picking the nose.
Please apply topical 2% mupirocin to the external nares & on the ulceration & see the results . I would have advocated a course of antibitoics & anti-inflammatory agents but am given to understand those will require a prescription..so best go across to your GP.
If no respite in 48 hrs & the pain et al persist, please do visit an ENT specialist nearest you. Am afraid these things are best sorted in person!
