Brief Answer:
May be due to muscle sprain.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

As per your history, it may be due to muscle sprain.

Please let me know do you have history of injury or sprain, numbness and tingling sensation in lower limbs?

To confirm diagnosis I would suggest you to do X Ray left foot and MRI lumbar spine with whole spine screening after detailed medical examination and orthopedician's opinion.

Till then you can take tablet acetaminophen 500 mg every 6 hourly. Apply diclofenac gel or ointment locally with heating pads.

Let me know I can assist you further...

Regards,
Dr Shyam Kale.
