Question: Having ED symptoms; soft erections, dry or retrograde ejaculation. Have been taking Tamsulosin, Finasteride daily for flow issues. Also Cialis. Have seen reports of these similar ED symptoms when combining these three drugs. Have stopped taking flow drugs as a result. Can you confirm that these interactions are correct and that could be causing my ED. ?

Based on the facts that you have posted you have been taking Tomsulosin, Fenesteride for poor urine flow due to Enlarged Prostate and experiencing Erectile Dysfunction( ED) and Retrograde Ejaculation.

Erectile Dysfunction (ED is the known side effect of Finasteride and Retrograde ejaculation is known side effect of Tamsulosin.

Your Erectile function should resume to near normal within two to three weeks after you stop taking these drugs.

also have noticed loss of libido while taking the Tamsulosis and Finasteride.

Ok. Thanks. What is best way to raise testosterone levels if low? My primary doctor had previously prescribed Androgel. I know one doctor who believes better to give self injections.

Stop taking Fenesteride and taking Testosterone in injectable form gives prompt results and helps to resume sexual function faster than by taking it orally .

However you have to monitor Serum Testosterone levels frequently by doing blood test.

One more thing. Sounds the ED issues are a result of Finasteride. So does that mean I could still take Tamsulosin? Since stopping taking both, it seems like I am reverting back to urinary flow issues. Originally my urologist has prescribed both of them together. I will ask him about Testosterone injections.

Fenesterude arrests the further growth of the Prostate and thus helps to reduce the Urethra being compressed by enlarged prostate and helps to improve urine flow But it has adverse side effects like Loss of libido, erectile dysfunction and developing cancer of prostate

Tomsulosin relaxes smooth muscle in Bladder neck and prostate and there by helps to relax Urethra and to improve urine flowI It has side effect of Retrograde ejaculation but no other side effect of sexual dysfunction like Fenesterude Hence one can continue taking Tomsulosin
