Having Blisters On Hand, Toes, Instep And Heels. Remedy?
Question: It started with blisters on his hands, which he still has, but he has also develop large blisters on his toes, instep and heel. What can I do to get rid of them.
Dear patient,
The differential disorder of blisters in hands and feet is not too extensive, but it includes from benign conditions such as bacterial and fungal infections (which can be erradicated) to autoimmune conditions such as bullous pemphigo and pemphigoid, to metabolic disorders (which could fit given his advanced age) such as porphyria cutanea tarda. The best way is to see a dermatologist, he would examine all the features of the lesions even with magnifying glass, and probably consider a biopsy to confirm the specific diagnosis and contemplate specific treatment.
