Having Cramps But Had My Period Last Week

Question: Brief Answer:
Can be due to indigestion.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The cramps that you are having may not be related to the periods. This can be due to a mild intestinal upset like gas and indigestion. You can have a light and easy to digest diet and take a mild anti spasmodic available over the counter and see if it helps.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

Having cramps but had my period last week

But only around my ovaries is where I was cramping at
Brief Answer:
Can be a renal cause.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The cramping only around the ovaries can be due to gas in the large intestine or constipation. This can be a renal colic also due to a calculus or infection. An ovarian cause also needs to be ruled out after an ultrasound scan.
