Having Headache And Neck Pain. Had Transaxial Scans Of Head. What Does Finding Indicate?

Question: CT SCAN OF BRAIN,DTLS
PROTOCOL:
Plain serial transaxial scans of head were performed starting from the base of the skull employing 5mm sections for the posterior fossa & 10mm for the supra-tentorium
CLINICAL DATA:-Neck pain-headache
FINDINGS:
Small cortical and subcortical hypodensity seen in the right parietal corona radiate region
Rest of brain parenchyma depicts normal attenuation values
Ventricular system appears normal
Midbrain and medulla oblongata appear normal
No shift of midline strictires
Para nasal air sinuses are normal-Mild DNS to the right
IMPRESSION:
Small right corona radiate cortical and subcortical hypodensity ? infarct
Rest of brain parenchymal attenuations are normal
No e/o extra axial collections

Dear Sir
I have seen your CT scan reports. These low attenuation areas in deeper areas of brain by itself has no specific meaning. They have to be correlated with clinical presentation. I will suggest you to mention sign and symptoms for which CT scan was considered and also mention reports of blood investigations.
In general they can be either normal or related to less blood supply. We will be able to suggest after you provide a detailed description of your symptoms.
