Hi,
The foods XXXXXXX in iron include red meat and liver (poultry or beef);egg yolks, molluscs (clams, oysters, scallops); dark green leaves, dried prunes and raisins, artichoke, beans and lentils, and iron-fortified foods such as cereals or breads.
With regards to foods high in vitamin C, they include parsley, strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, citrus fruits (orange, lemon), greens, papaya, broccoli, pineapple, sweet potato, tomato, etc.
If the levels of iron and vitamin C is really low, apart taking foods, she should take the drugs as prescribed by her doctor to give a boost to her iron and vitamin C levels.
