Having Scar In Pubic Area. Having Scab With Pus. Worried If The Pubic Hair Is Delaying The Healing Process?

My appendix was not burst.
It is the scar in the pubic area. I had a scab that came of in the shower one week ago, in one corner of the wound. It was a hole about 0,5cm there, no blood or pus maybe a little bit of pus when I press around it. It is not XXXXXXX or worm, I have no fever.
Today when I clean it, a new little scab came of, and I see two pubic hair in the "hole" I took them out (whit the roots) it hurt a bit.
So I wounder if it could be the pubic hair growth that irritate the healing process? The other scar has heald fine, it just this one in the outher corner.
Im a 32years old women.
Thank You in advance!
Sometimes the catgut used in closing the sheath of the wound (just below the skin stitch) does not get absorbed, which normally should. In that case the wound you have mentioned in your history will not heal till it gets absorbed or comes out of its own. May be what you thought to be pubic hair is in reality discolored catgut which have come out of its own. It actually may not be an skin infection, unless there is any purulent discharge from the wound associated with pain and fever.
So just clean the wound normally as you do during bathing, and you can apply any antiseptic agent on it after drying it properly. It will heal up in due course.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Wishing you an early recovery.

I don't think it is a suture, becuase I saw the roots of the hair when I pull it out. I can also see now that it starts to grow two new hair in the hole. They have grow a litte bit since yesterday.
Should I pull them out, when they grow a little bit more so I can grip them? Or should I leave it along? When the hair grow there, it dosen't came up right, out of the top skin. It grows inside the hole, sideways along the scar inside. Like the wrong direction. Can this be the reason for the delayed healing?
Thank You,
Best regards..
Thanks for giving me more details of the situation.
You are right. The wrong direction of the hair acts as a foreign body in the wound which delays the healing in case it is a hair. I think you just leave it like that without fiddling with it any more. Let it take its own course. May be as epithlialisation of the skin occurs, the direction of the hair growth will revert back to normal and you will be relieved of the problem. I do not feel like going for any active intervention at present, but would prefer to follow a wait and watch policy, as you do not have any pain or any other discomfort excepting for having a small raw wound, which is not infrequent after any surgery.
However, if it gets prolonged more than a month, then I would advise you to visit your operating surgeon to get it examined by him to confirm the diagnosis and further management.
You are welcomed to ask question if you have got any further doubts.
Thanks and wishing you good luck.
